ISLAMABAD: Around 34 children from the Chaoyang Elementary School of Beijing visited the Embassy of Pakistan.
The children
were also accompanied by some teachers, parent representatives and the school’s party secretary; according to a press release received from Beijing, China.
During their visit to the embassy, the children expressed keen inte
rest in Pakistan, its culture and different aspects of its society. They
were also enlightened about the background
and history of Pakistan-China relations.The visiting school children also presented a short and graceful performance of the Peking opera.
Addressing the children, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that Pakistan-China relations continue to be embedded in deep-rooted affiliation and appreciation of each other’s culture and are strengthened by such exchanges.
She also highlighted
that children of the two countries represent a bright future of special relations between Pakist
an and China.
