LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Saad Rafique on Saturday termed the reaction of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on the recently held population census as “non democratic’ and ‘suspicious’.
He also accused PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari of working on an ‘unknown agenda’
The minister invited the opposition to make a consensus on constitutional amendments for delimitations.
“We should ensure interaction with each other and that the one who refuses to do so, should not call himself a politician,” Rafique said.
He went on to say that the failure in approving constitutional amendment on time would cause a delay in General Elections in 2018.
