ANKARA: Pakistan’s foreign minister Khawaja Asif was w
elcomed by Turkish leadership upon his arrival in Ankara on Tuesday.
Khawaja called on Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan at the presidential palace where Erdogan reiterated his country’s unflinching commitment to broaden and expand brotherly relations with Pakistan.

lso reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong desire for further strengthening strategic partnership between the two countries.

eed to work together for the betterment of the region and tha
t Pakistan and Turkey have agreed that there is no military solution to the Afghanistan.
Khawaja Asif also called on Prime Minister Binali Yildirim and discussed issues pertaining to further strengthening of bilateral relations.

The minister also held talks with his Turkish counterpart, Mevlüt Çavusoglu during his visit.
