KARACHI: A special anti-terrorism court inside Central Jail, Karachi rejected on Friday a petition to move the case pertaining to the murder of Intezar Ahmed to a sessions court.
The suspects in the case had submitted the petition and also requested the court to remove Anti Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) SHO Tariq Mehmood’s name from the case.
The court has rejected both petitions.
Intezar was killed on the 13th of January when ACLC officials fired at his vehicle on Khayaban-e-Ittehad in Karachi.
The hearing of the case has been adjourned till the 9th of May.
